Dhaka, Jan 23 (V7N) — The Election Commission (EC) will hold a meeting with diplomats from all foreign missions working in Bangladesh on Sunday.

Election Commissioner Abdur Rahmanel Machud disclosed the information while speaking to the media on Thursday (January 22).

He said that all members of the Election Commission will meet with foreign diplomats, ambassadors of different countries and representatives of the United Nations at Hotel Westin in Dhaka at 10:30 am on Sunday.

According to the Election Commissioner, the meeting will focus on the Election Commission’s preparations, transparency of the electoral process, and international election observation in connection with the upcoming national parliamentary elections.

He added that the overall situation and key aspects of the elections will also be highlighted during the meeting.
