Dhaka, Feb 07 (V7N)- The Election Commission (EC) has introduced four methods for voters to quickly and accurately find their voter number and polling station information ahead of the 13th National Parliament Election and Referendum.

The methods are:

1. Smart Election Management BD App
Voters can download the Smart Election Management BD App from the Play Store or App Store. After installation, select ‘13th National Parliament Election’ from the dashboard, click ‘Find Polling Station’, and input the NID number and date of birth. The app will display the voter number, voter serial number, polling station name, and center address.

2. Hotline 105
Voters can call hotline 105 and press 9 to talk to an operator. The service requires the voter’s NID number and date of birth and is available daily from 6 am to 12 midnight.

3. SMS via 105
Voters can send a message by typing PC NID and sending it to 105. A return SMS will provide the voter number and polling station information.

4. Election Commission Website
Voter information is also available on the EC website ecs.gov.bd. By clicking the ‘Voting Center’ menu, voters can:

  • Select constituency and upazila/police station to view a list of polling centers

  • Search by NID number and date of birth to get voter number and polling station details

The website also integrates Google Maps, allowing voters to view the location of polling stations, as well as detailed routes and distance information.

These initiatives aim to make the voting process easier and ensure that every eligible voter can access polling information ahead of the elections.
