Law Minister Anisul Huq dismissed recent statements made by the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) as nonsensical, attributing them to the party's fear of its political survival.
Speaking to journalists at Kasba Upazila Parishad in Brahmanbaria, the minister responded to questions regarding BNP's stance on India. He asserted that when a political party feels threatened about its existence, it tends to make nonsensical statements, and therefore, BNP's remarks should not be taken seriously.
Subsequently, Minister Anisul Huq participated as the chief guest in a ceremony where 80 female entrepreneurs received laptops. The event, held at the Upazila Auditorium, was organized by the District Administration and the Brahmanbaria Information and Communication Technology Department. Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Habibur Rahman chaired the event, with Police Superintendent Mohammad Shakawat Hossain, Kasba Upazila Chairman Rashedul Kaisar Bhuiyan Jibon, and Upazila Executive Officer Shahriar Mukhtar also present as special guests.
