Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader criticized the ongoing quota reform protests, accusing demonstrators of unlawfully challenging the country's highest court instead of seeking legal remedies. At a press conference on Thursday, Quader condemned the unrest and urged respect for the Supreme Court's ongoing judicial process on the quota issue.

He called for an end to coercive politics and public suffering, emphasizing the need to respect state institutions. Quader also highlighted negative public reactions to the protesters' behavior and stressed that such actions were detrimental to the state and its people.
