June 3 (V7N Teknaf)- A one-day agricultural fair was held with the local farmers in Teknaf of Cox's Bazar in an agricultural friendly area with the aim of marketing the various products produced and made by the local farmers at the local level and determining the fair price.
 
This agricultural fair was organized with the funding of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) under the management of the NGO Sushilon in Hnila Union area in Teknaf Cox's Bazar Bangladesh from 3 June from 10 am.
Md Azizur Rahman, Project Co-ordinator of NGO organization Sushilon and Field Associates Md Zahid, and under the chairmanship of Didar Hossain, President of Agricultural Products Collection Center, a discussion meeting on agricultural issues was held, in which Deputy Director of Cox's Bazar Agricultural Extension Directorate was present as the chief guest. Deputy Director of Cox's Bazar Agriculture Extension Department Muminul Islam, United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) Country Representative Mrs Jaygalvez, Assistant Monitoring Officer Amitab Chakma, Hnila UP Women Member Nasrin Parvin Kabir, Youth Leader Md Rafiq, and NGO Worker Ashraful Alam  spoke as special guests. Agriculture expert Didar Hossain, Belal Uddin and others spoke expressing their feelings on the program.
 
It should be noted that in the said agricultural fair, various agricultural machinery, various vegetable seedlings produced by farmers, fruits, and various products made through handicrafts are exhibited in the form of stalls.
The guests and the people from the funding agencies went around and observed with their own eyes the agricultural activities conducted by the NGO Sushilon and thanked the farmers.
