Dhaka, Nov 25 (V7N) – Dr. Mohammad Abdul Momen, Chairman of the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC), has stated that any attempt to pressure the ACC in the future will be publicly exposed.

He made the remarks at a view-sharing meeting held at the ACC conference room in Segunbagicha on Tuesday (November 25) afternoon.

Dr. Momen acknowledged the challenges faced by the commission, saying, “I cannot say that we have been very successful in recovering laundered money. But we are striving to ensure that no money is laundered.”

The meeting was attended by ACC Commissioner Mian Muhammad Ali Akbar Azizi, Brigadier General (retd) Hafiz Ahsan Farid, and Secretary Mohammad Khaled Rahim.

The chairman’s remarks underscore the ACC’s commitment to maintaining independence and transparency in its anti-corruption efforts.
