Narayanganj, Dec 01 (V7N)- Election Commissioner Anwarul Islam Sarkar has said that the Election Commission (EC) will not exempt anyone who violates the electoral code of conduct, and the candidacy of any violator will be cancelled without hesitation.

He made the remarks at a workshop held at Saira Garden in Narayanganj Port on Monday (December 1) morning.

The Election Commissioner emphasized that no election will be conducted in a disorganized manner. “Where fines or jail terms are necessary, magistrates will remain vigilant and take appropriate action,” he said.

He further announced that the use of posters will be strictly prohibited in the upcoming elections. “The Election Commission will enforce this strictly as soon as the schedule is announced,” he added.
