Dhaka, Feb 18 (V7N) — Prime Minister Tarique Rahman is set to address the nation for the first time since assuming office, with his speech scheduled to be broadcast live on Bangladesh Television (BTV) at 6:30 pm today (February 18).

According to official sources, all television channels across the country will simultaneously air the address in the public interest with technical cooperation from BTV, ensuring nationwide coverage of the Prime Minister’s remarks.

The address comes a day after a 49-member cabinet led by Prime Minister Tarique Rahman was sworn in. The council of ministers includes 25 full ministers and 24 state ministers. With the swearing-in ceremony, the newly formed government formally assumed administrative responsibility for Bangladesh.

The Prime Minister’s inaugural speech is expected to outline the government’s priorities, policy direction, and immediate plans following the transition of power.
