Dhaka, Sep 02 (V7N)- Indian High Commissioner to Bangladesh Dinesh Trivedi paid a courtesy call on National Parliament Speaker Hafiz Uddin Ahmed Bir Bikram and Deputy Speaker Barrister Kasar Kamal on Wednesday.
The meeting was held at the Parliament House in Dhaka on Wednesday morning.
During the meeting, the officials discussed Bangladesh-India bilateral relations and ways to further strengthen parliamentary cooperation through the exchange of experiences between the two countries.
They also discussed the role of the Parliamentary Friendship Group in strengthening relations between Dhaka and New Delhi, as well as the introduction of an e-Parliament system and the use of artificial intelligence in parliamentary activities.
The meeting also covered opportunities for MPs to participate in training and evaluation programs, along with mutual visits by parliamentary delegations as part of efforts to further deepen bilateral relations.
