He stated that the Chinese side is prepared to expand its collaboration with Bangladesh in the areas of law enforcement, maintaining security, and developing human resources.
The envoy emphasized that both nations must work together to contribute to their sustainable development.
Meeting with Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan, Ambassador Yao talked about potential areas of collaboration.
In light of the new situation, the two sides conducted a thorough conversation about how to further encourage law enforcement and security cooperation between their two nations.
Ambassador Yao congratulated Asaduzzaman Khan on his appointment as Minister of Home Affairs and the Bangladeshi government on the successful conduct of the 12th National Parliamentary Election.
Ambassador Yao stated that under the combined direction of Chinese President Xi Jinping and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, the Bangladesh-China Strategic Partnership of Cooperation has continued to progress.
He said that in compliance with the law, the Home Minister has shown concern and attention for the safety, security, and interests of Chinese nationals and businesses operating in Bangladesh.
Asaduzzaman Khan expressed gratitude to China for its unwavering and steadfast support of Bangladesh in upholding its independence, resisting outside meddling, and accomplishing its development objectives.
According to the Chinese Embassy in Dhaka, the Bangladeshi side is prepared to expand friendly cooperation with China on law enforcement and security keeping, and expects China to offer more training opportunities for Bangladeshi law enforcement officials.
The Bangladeshi side stated that the Ministry of Home Affairs will make every effort to guarantee the safety and security of Chinese nationals and businesses operating in Bangladesh.
