From the roof of the MT rack of the Kurigram Express, which was departing from Kurigram, the body of an unnamed passenger was found. The rescued passenger's identification could not be verified, according to the police.

On Monday, February 19, at around 1:15 p.m., this body was found near the Kaunia train station in Rangpur.

Kurigram Express departed from Kurigram, according to the station master. When the engine was being changed at Kaunia station, the passengers on the platform discovered the passenger's corpse on the MP rack's roof.

Information was later sent to the Kaunia police station's civil defense and fire department. After the fire department arrived at 2:00 pm, they removed the body and gave it to the police outpost's supervisor.

The fire service personnel retrieved the corpse, according to Abdul Matin, the police outpost commander at Kaunia train station. To take the body to the morgue at Rangpur Medical College, preparations are now being made. What caused the death will be ascertained via postmortem.

When the postmortem concludes, they will get the identification if it is discovered in the meantime.
