DEC O5, (V7N) - On Thursday, Chief of Army Staff General Waqar-uz-Zaman inaugurated the newly constructed 'Senanir' building for army personnel at the Shaheed Salahuddin Cantonment in Ghatail, Tangail. The event took place at 3:30 PM, where General Zaman unveiled the plaque and released balloons to mark the occasion.

Following the inauguration, the Army Chief toured the building's various floors, engaging with the servicemen and their families who will benefit from the new accommodations.

Earlier, General Waqar-uz-Zaman participated in a tree-planting ceremony in front of the newly constructed building, emphasizing environmental consciousness.

Also present at the ceremony were Major General Hussain Muhammad Masihur Rahman, the GOC of the 19 Infantry Division and Area Commander of Ghatail, along with other senior army officers.

The Army Chief expressed optimism that the construction of the Senanir building would help address the accommodation needs of soldiers serving in the Ghatail area, providing them with better living conditions.
