Khagrachari, Feb 27, (V7N) – The Central Crematorium of Ganjpara, Khagrachari, celebrated Shiv Chaturdashi with great religious fervor and devotion. The event, organized by the Sri Sri Shiv Mandir Management Committee, saw a grand Maha Shiva Puja and a four-pronged Maha Naam Mahotsav aimed at promoting global peace and welfare of humanity.
 
The celebrations commenced on Wednesday with the invocation of the Ganges (Ganga Ahabhan) and the start of the four-pronged worship (Chatush Prahar Mahotsav). Devotees engaged in intense Shiva Puja, chanting religious hymns, and performing devotional music and Bhagwat Katha throughout the day and night.
 
The festivities reached their peak with the culmination of the Mahotsav, where the devotees gathered for the Maha Naam Sankirtan. The singing of divine hymns and the continuous chanting of Lord Shiva’s praises created a spiritually uplifting atmosphere.
 
On Thursday afternoon, a significant part of the celebration was the distribution of Mahaprasad among the devotees. Following the Mahaprasad distribution, the Maha Naam Sankirtan ceremony was completed, marking the grand finale of the religious observance.
