Jan 08 (V7N) — Google has introduced a new feature for Android users of its popular photo management and storage platform, Google Photos. The update aims to make it easier for users to locate their saved photos and videos by identifying the albums in which they are stored.

Previously available only on the web version, this feature now allows Android users to quickly access album information for their media files. Users can view this information by swiping up on a photo or video or tapping the three-dot menu on the right side to open the information screen.

Key Highlights of the New Feature:

A new section titled "Albums" will appear on the information screen for photos and videos.

If a photo or video is stored in multiple albums, the names of the last three albums will be displayed.

A "Show More" option will reveal the complete list of albums associated with the media.

This update eliminates the need to search through individual folders, offering a streamlined way to organize and locate files.

Google Photos, which provides free online storage for photos and videos, is a go-to solution for users worldwide to store and manage their memories. With this new feature, Google continues to enhance user convenience and efficiency.
