São Paulo, Nov 09 (V7N)- A tragic shooting at São Paulo's Guarulhos International Airport has left businessman Antonio Vinicius Gritzbach dead and three others injured. The attack, reported by CNN, occurred on Saturday, shocking the nation as footage of the incident circulated widely on social media.

According to surveillance footage, a team of five gunmen arrived at the airport in a black car and targeted Gritzbach, opening fire before quickly fleeing the scene. The black vehicle, later identified from CCTV footage, was discovered abandoned near the airport, though the suspects remain at large.

The harrowing videos show Gritzbach’s body lying at the entrance to the airport terminal, while panicked passengers can be seen lying on the floor for safety. In response to the incident, Guarulhos airport authorities confirmed that emergency services and police were alerted immediately. Military police, civil police, and highway patrol officers were deployed swiftly to secure the area.

São Paulo’s Homicide and Personal Protection Department has launched an investigation into the killing, with the São Paulo Public Security Secretary assuring the public that a detailed report will be provided once further information is gathered.
