Apr 18 (V7N) — The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) has claimed that Iran carried out around 11,000 strikes as part of a recent military campaign.

In a statement issued on Saturday, the IDF also said its own operations included more than 14,900 artillery strikes and 2,500 airstrikes in Lebanon, targeting approximately 165 high-rise buildings.

Meanwhile, the US-based Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA) reported that civilian casualties in Iran had reached 1,701 as of April 7 — the day Donald Trump announced a conditional two-week ceasefire.

On the Lebanese side, the Lebanese Health Ministry said that at least 2,100 people have been killed during the six-week conflict, with more than one million residents displaced.

The differing figures and claims from military and humanitarian sources highlight the difficulty of independently verifying the full scale of casualties and destruction amid the ongoing conflict.
