In response to the recent attack on Israel, Jordan, Iraq, and Lebanon have taken proactive measures by announcing the closure of their airspace. The temporary suspension of civil aviation aims to ensure the safety of their citizens in light of escalating tensions in the region.

Additionally, Kuwait Airways has announced plans to adjust flight routes to prioritize passenger safety amid the heightened security concerns.

During the airspace closure period, no flights will be permitted to take off or land, and transit routes will also be affected. These measures are expected to remain in place for several hours, with further decisions contingent on ongoing assessments of the situation.

In parallel, Israel has also closed its airspace following the Iranian attack, leading to the cancellation of all domestic and international flights.

The Iranian attack, which included drone, missile, and ballistic strikes on Israeli territory, was carried out in retaliation for a prior Israeli assault on the Iranian consulate in Damascus, Syria. As tensions continue to escalate, regional countries are taking precautionary steps to safeguard their airspace and citizens.
