Washington, July 10 – Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez has criticized the West for its double standards regarding the conflicts in Ukraine and Gaza. Speaking at the NATO conference in Washington on Wednesday, Sanchez emphasized the need for consistent application of international law.

Sanchez pointed out that while the West supports Ukraine in its struggle to uphold international law, it should adopt a similar stance toward Gaza. He highlighted the inconsistency in the West's approach to these two conflicts, calling for a unified and fair political position.

"The West must ensure a political stance on both Ukraine and Gaza that does not reflect double standards," Sanchez stated. He urged the international community to exert pressure to alleviate the severe humanitarian crisis in Gaza and called for an international peace conference to establish a Palestinian state. He also emphasized the urgent need for a ceasefire in Gaza to prevent further suffering.
