Michigan, Oct 19, (V7N) - With just 17 days until polls open, Donald Trump and Kamala Harris campaigned in Michigan, a key swing state.

Trump criticized the judge and prosecutor in his federal election conspiracy case as nearly 2,000 pages of heavily redacted prosecution documents were released. He controversially suggested the Civil War could have been resolved without bloodshed.

In Oakland County, Trump held a roundtable event before a rally in Detroit, which was delayed for 18 minutes due to microphone issues. He kept the crowd engaged while waiting for the audio to be fixed.

In a separate event, Trump expressed pride in receiving the endorsement of Hamtramck Mayor Amer Ghalib, who praised Trump’s leadership.

Vice President Harris campaigned in Grand Rapids, Lansing, and Oakland County. Responding to Biden's comments about her policy differences, she stated it wouldn’t be “productive” to highlight them. Instead, she focused on her proposals, including expanding Medicare and down payment assistance for first-time homebuyers.

Regarding the recent death of Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar, Trump called him “not a good person” and indicated plans to speak with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, criticizing Biden for allegedly holding Netanyahu back during the conflict.

Additionally, documents related to Trump’s alleged election interference were released, detailing expenses for the "Stop the Steal" rally on January 6, 2021. Trump has pleaded not guilty to the charges.

Harris critiqued Trump over reports of his exhaustion on the campaign trail, questioning his fitness for presidency. Trump responded that he feels exhilarated and is leading in the polls.

As the campaign intensifies, both candidates aim to rally support in this pivotal state.
