Oct 18,V7N- Paul Pogba has expressed his strong desire to return to Juventus following his reduced doping ban, even if it means accepting a pay cut. In an interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport, the French World Cup winner emphasized his willingness to sacrifice financially to play for the club again. "I'm prepared to give up money to play for Juve. I want to come back to this team," Pogba stated, adding that he is focused on preparing for his return.

Pogba, whose contract with Juventus runs until June 2026 and is worth €8 million annually, is currently receiving only the minimum wage under Serie A regulations—just over €2,000 per month—due to his suspension. However, despite his reduced ban, reports suggest Juventus may still consider terminating his contract.

Pogba, however, is determined to return stronger. "It will be a new Pogba—hungrier, wiser, and stronger. I just want to play football," he said, reaffirming his loyalty to Juventus.

His initial four-year doping ban was reduced to 18 months by the Court of Arbitration for Sport in October, allowing him to return to the field by March 2025, just days before his 32nd birthday. Pogba had tested positive for testosterone in August 2023 after a match against Udinese. His representatives have stated that the testosterone resulted from a food supplement prescribed by a doctor in the U.S.
