Oct 21, V7N- The Golden State Warriors have reportedly reached a three-year, $39 million extension with guard Moses Moody, as announced by ESPN on Sunday. Moody is in the final year of his rookie contract and had a career-best season last year, averaging 8.1 points over 66 games. With the Warriors losing veteran shooting guard Klay Thompson to the Dallas Mavericks in free agency, Moody is expected to take on a larger role this season.

Selected as the 14th overall pick in the 2021 NBA Draft, the 22-year-old guard showcased his potential during the preseason, averaging 15.5 points while shooting 45.6 percent from the field and 39.4 percent from three-point range. As he enters his fourth season, Moody's overall career averages stand at 5.9 points, 2.1 rebounds, and 0.7 assists across 181 games.
