The city's premier professional boxing event of the year, "Path To Glory: Hustle in Dhaka Square," is being prepared for by Xcel Sports Management and Promotions in collaboration with The Arena Promotions.

Boxing enthusiasts and novices alike will have an exciting experience at the event, which is scheduled for Saturday, February 17, at the Kemal Ataturk Park in Banani. It begins at 4 p.m.

This historic event will showcase the skills of up-and-coming national boxing talent in addition to international bouts, such as a fight between Bangladesh's ABF Champion Sura Krishna Chakma and India's Sandeep Kumar. A major bout that promises to be exciting for spectators will pit a Malaysian ABF champion against Bangladesh's Resatul Sajin.

26 competitors competing in 13 bouts in 10 weight classes, from bantamweight to super lightweight, are scheduled for the event. Watchers may anticipate 11 new stars making their stage debuts, representing teams like BKSP, Dhaka, Khulna, and Bandarban.

The Bangladesh Boxing Foundation's chairman, Adnan Haroon, stressed the significance of the occasion in developing professional boxing in Bangladesh at the divisional and district levels. Under the approval and licensing of the Bangladesh Boxing Foundation, the event is a joint venture between the recently founded Xcel & The Arena Promotions, with Ishrat Karim Bhuiyan of Arena Promotions spearheading the initiative.

With support from Olympic Energy Plus Biscuits, Turaag Active, and Premier Bank as sponsors, "Path to Glory" hopes to serve as a springboard for the country's young boxers. This boxing event is expected to raise the bar for boxing in Bangladesh with its fascinating blend of sports and entertainment.
