India, Nov 16, V7N- Sanju Samson and Tilak Varma powered India to a commanding total of 283 for one with explosive centuries in the fourth and final T20 international against South Africa at the Wanderers Stadium on Friday. Samson smashed an unbeaten 109, while Varma blazed to 120 not out, as India set the second-highest T20 total between Test nations, falling just 14 runs short of their 297 against Bangladesh last month.

The Indian batting lineup went on a six-hitting spree, smashing a record 23 sixes in a match between Test-playing countries. Varma led the charge with 10 sixes, followed by Samson with nine. Abhishek Sharma contributed 36 runs, including four sixes, before being the only batsman dismissed.

India’s dominant performance gives them a 2-1 lead in the series, showcasing their aggressive approach and batting depth in the shortest format of the game.
