Shakib Al Hasan is the leading contender for the best player award in the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL), as he has excelled with both bat and ball for Rangpur Riders. The all-rounder has scored 280 runs and taken 15 wickets in 10 matches, topping the Total Impact List on Crick Info.
The BPL is entering its final phase, with three teams already qualified for the playoffs. Rangpur Riders are at the top of the table with 10 points, followed by Comilla Victorians with eight points from one less game. The BPL will resume on February 25, with the last two league matches to be played in Dhaka. The playoffs will start on February 28, with the final to be held on March 1.
