Fortune Barishal clinched a resounding victory over Chattogram Challengers in today's Bangladesh Premier League Eliminator match, winning by seven wickets. Kyle Mayers starred with both bat and ball, scoring a blistering 50 off 26 balls and claiming 2 wickets for 28 runs.

Barishal chased down a target of 136 in just 14.5 overs, thanks to Mayers' explosive innings and captain Tamim Iqbal's unbeaten 53. Despite losing Soumya Sarkar early, Mayers and Tamim forged a crucial 98-run partnership.

David Miller contributed 17 runs before being dismissed. Barishal's bowlers, including Mohammad Saifuddin and Obed McCoy, restricted Chattogram to a modest total, with opener Josh Brown being the top scorer with 34 runs. Barisal now advances to the Qualifier-2 match, set to be held on Wednesday.

They will face the loser of the Qualifier-1 match between Comilla Victorians and Rangpur Riders, scheduled for later tonight at 6:30 pm.
