Dhaka, June 8 (V7N) — The Singapore national football team has arrived in Dhaka ahead of their AFC Asian Cup qualifier match against Bangladesh. The team’s flight landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport around 11 PM on Saturday.
Singapore has brought a 42-member contingent, including 23 players and 19 coaching and support staff. The team is scheduled to hold their first practice session on Sunday afternoon at the Armed Police Battalion ground in Uttara.
On Monday, the visiting side will be allowed to practice at the match venue, the National Stadium in Dhaka.
Bangladesh and Singapore are set to face off in the crucial AFC Asian Cup qualifying match on June 10.
