Coventry City striker Haji Wright, whose late goal secured an FA Cup upset against Wolverhampton Wanderers, has been summoned back to the US national team. This follows his standout performance that propelled his Championship side into the FA Cup semi-finals against Manchester United.

The 25-year-old forward, absent from Gregg Berhalter's USA squad since the 2022 World Cup, stands a chance to earn his eighth cap in the CONCACAF Nations League semi-final versus Jamaica in Dallas this Thursday. Wright's inclusion came after Josh Sargent, another Championship player from Norwich City, sustained an ankle injury.

Berhalter also brought in attacking midfielder Brenden Aaronson, currently on loan at Union Berlin from Leeds United, to replace Luca de la Torre, who is sidelined with a quadriceps strain while playing for Celta Vigo.

The US team aims for a third consecutive Nations League title and, if successful against Jamaica at the AT&T Stadium, will face either Mexico or Panama in Sunday's final.
