Milan, Mar 09 (V7N) – AC Milan secured a narrow 1–0 victory over Inter Milan in Italy’s top-flight Serie A at the San Siro on Sunday.

The decisive moment came in the 35th minute, when Milan defender Pervis Estupiñán scored from a pass by Youssouf Fofana, giving the hosts the lead. Inter had a chance shortly before halftime but failed to convert it.

After the break, Inter increased their attacking pressure but were unable to score due to strong goalkeeping and poor finishing. The visitors came close to equalizing in stoppage time when a header from Manuel Akanji narrowly missed the target.

Under coach Massimiliano Allegri, AC Milan held on to secure the crucial victory.

Despite the defeat, Inter Milan remain top of the Serie A table with 67 points from 28 matches, while AC Milan moved closer in second place with 60 points.
