Juventus' Serie A woes continued as they battled back from a two-goal deficit to secure a 2-2 draw against Cagliari on Friday. Trailing at halftime due to penalties from Gianluca Gaetano and Yerry Mina, Massimiliano Allegri's side salvaged a point with goals from Dusan Vlahovic and an unfortunate own goal by Alberto Dossena in the closing minutes. Despite their comeback, Juventus' season has been disappointing, with only two wins in their last 12 matches and a considerable gap of 19 points behind league leaders Inter Milan.

Cagliari, on the other hand, remain in 14th place and took a step towards Serie A safety, sitting five points clear of the relegation zone. With the Scudetto likely to be decided in Inter Milan's match against AC Milan on Monday night, Juventus are assured of a place in next season's Champions League due to Serie A's fifth spot.

Meanwhile, Lazio secured a crucial 1-0 victory over Genoa, with Luis Alberto scoring the decisive goal in the 57th minute. This win propelled Lazio closer to local rivals Roma, who currently occupy the final Champions League spot in Serie A. Alberto's goal came shortly after expressing his desire to terminate his contract with Lazio, despite signing an extension last summer.

Roma, who are set to face Bologna on Monday, also have an interrupted fixture against Udinese to conclude, with the match suspended due to Evan Ndicka's on-pitch collapse.
