Mohammedan Sporting Club secured their spot in the final of the ABG Bashundhara Federation Cup football tournament after a thrilling comeback victory against Bangladesh Police Football Club. Despite falling behind early in the second half, Mohammedan staged a remarkable turnaround, with Nigerian forward Sunday Emmanuel equalizing before midfielder Shahriar Emon scored the winning goal.

The match saw Uzbek defender Uktamov Akhrorbek opening the scoring for Police, but Mohammedan fought back with Sunday's goal in the 68th minute. Shahriar Emon then sealed the victory with a brilliant header in the 79th minute, securing Mohammedan's place in the final.

Having previously won the Federation Cup title after fourteen years, Mohammedan will look to maintain their superiority in the final match. They reached the final for the second time this season, having lost to Bashundhara Kings in the Independence Cup final.

The tournament's second semifinal match between Bashundhara Kings and Abahani Limited is scheduled for May 14, with the final set to take place on May 21 at Rafiq Uddin Bhuiyan Stadium in Mymensingh.
