The winner of the 69th Cox's Bazar traditional DC's saheb's wrestling competition is Farid, also known as "Bagha Sharif," from Homna Upazila in Comilla. The runner-up is "Kalu," also from Maheshkhali in Cox's Bazar.
 
The final match took place on Saturday, (May 11) at 5 o'clock in the afternoon at the Bir Shrestha Ruhul Amin Stadium in Cox's Bazar. After an intense battle lasting 4 minutes, Bagha Sharif emerged victorious over Kalo, securing the first position. 
 
Hossain became the second, and Shafiullah became the third. Bagha Sharif expressed his joy, stating, "I'm thrilled to be the champion again, just like last time in DC Saheb's wrestling game. As long as I have the strength, I'll keep participating in the wrestling game." 
 
Organized by the District Sports Association and on the initiative of the Shrimp Hatchery Association of Bangladesh (Shab), the tournament saw over four hundred participants from various parts of the district competing in three categories.
 
The prize distribution for the tournament includes Tk 25,000 for the champion, Tk 15,000 for the runner-up, Tk 12,000 for the second prize winner, and Tk 8,000 for the runner-up. The third prize winner will receive Tk 10,000, with the runner-up receiving Tk 7,000.
 
During the closing ceremony, Mohammad Tofayel Islam, Commissioner of the Chittagong Division, served as the chief guest, with District Administrator Mohammad Shahin Imran chairing the event. The ceremony was attended by various dignitaries and officials from the district administration, along with members of the wrestling game sub-committee. Helal Uddin Kabir, the secretary, led the proceedings.
 
At the end of the tournament, the winners were awarded the Champion Trophy along with their cash prizes.
