Star-studded Bashundhara Kings secured the title of ABG Bashundhara Federation Cup in a thrilling final against Mohammedan Sporting Club, emerging victorious with a 2-1 comeback win at Rafiq Uddin Bhuiyan Stadium in Mymensingh. The nail-biting final extended into extra time after the stipulated time ended in a 1-1 draw, with substitute Jahid Hossain scoring the winning goal from close range late in the first half of extra time, leading the Kings to a treble victory.
This remarkable triumph in the Federation Cup final over Mohammedan has fulfilled the coach Oscar Bruzón's team's dream of winning the treble, following their victories in the Independence Cup and Bangladesh Premier League.
