England showcased an impressive all-round fielding performance, limiting South Africa to 163-6 in their T20 World Cup Super Eights match in St. Lucia on Friday.

South Africa initially seemed in a strong position at 92-1, having recovered from losing the toss. Quinton de Kock had a particularly explosive start, striking Jofra Archer for 21 runs in a single over, including two consecutive sixes. De Kock's quick-fire innings of 65 from 38 balls, featuring four fours and four sixes, was halted by a spectacular catch from England captain and wicketkeeper Jos Buttler off Archer's bowling.

After De Kock's dismissal in the 12th over, South Africa's momentum faltered. They lost three crucial wickets for just 21 runs, bringing the score to 113-4. Heinrich Klaasen was notably run out by a direct hit from Buttler at the non-striker's end, highlighting England's sharp fielding efforts.

David Miller attempted to rebuild with a brisk 43, but was caught in the deep off Archer, who ended his spell with figures of 3-40 from his allotted four overs.

Both England and South Africa had won their opening matches in the Super Eights stage. A victory in this encounter would significantly boost either team's chances of advancing to the semi-finals.
