Reigning champions England advanced to the semi-finals of the T20 World Cup with a commanding 10-wicket victory over the United States in their final Super Eights match in Barbados on Sunday.

England's Chris Jordan was the star with the ball, taking four wickets in five balls, including the third hat-trick of the tournament, to dismiss the USA for a modest 115.

England captain Jos Buttler then delivered a batting masterclass, scoring an unbeaten 83. Buttler's explosive performance featured five sixes in a single over from Harmeet Singh, contributing to an over that cost 32 runs.

England reached their target in just 9.4 overs, finishing at 117-0. This rapid chase ensured England's semi-final spot on net run-rate, irrespective of the result from the final Group Two Super Eights match between co-hosts the West Indies and South Africa in Antigua.
