Pierceson Coody managed to maintain his lead heading into the final round of the US PGA Tour ISCO Championship in Nicholasville, Kentucky. Despite a challenging front nine, Coody rallied on the back nine, finishing with a four-under 68 for a 20-under 196 total. The 24-year-old rookie, who had led after the first two rounds, faced ups and downs early on with three birdies and three bogeys. However, he found his rhythm with an eagle at the par-five 11th and birdies at the 15th and 17th holes.

Coody's closest competitors are England's Harry Hall, who carded a 64, and Rico Hoey of the Philippines, who shot 67, both just one stroke behind at 19-under 197. Hall and Hoey showcased their skills with impressive rounds, particularly Hoey, who eagled the 15th and birdied the 16th before a bogey at the 18th dropped him back to second place.

Reflecting on his performance, Coody said, "The front nine, just a few things didn't go my way. Didn't quite hit it the way I wanted to, left myself in some tough spots. But every hole feels like out here you can have a chance at birdie with one good shot, so I just tried to stick with that mindset and luckily some good bounces and some good putts on the back nine got me back in it."

The leaderboard is packed with players seeking their first US PGA Tour title. Sam Bairstow had a standout performance with 10 birdies in a 10-under 62, tying him with Neal Shipley (66) and Johannes Veerman (67) at 198.

This tournament runs concurrently with the Scottish Open, where many of the tour’s top names are preparing for the final major of the season, the Open Championship at Royal Troon in Scotland, scheduled for July 18-21.
