Argentina's Asia tour schedule has been finalized. The Albiceleste will travel to China in the March international window. Argentina will play two friendly matches in the Asian tour. Messi's opponents in Hangzhou and Beijing are Nigeria and Ivory Coast. Both of these matches can be played anytime between March 18-26.

Coach Lionel Scaloni wanted his team to play against a quality opponent. Scaloni also held a meeting with Football Association president Claudio Tapia about the March opponent. According to preliminary plans, Argentina will come to the Asian country of China in the international window.

Argentina football has made such a decision thinking about the Chinese football craze and the market. However, Lionel Messi's team will not play against any opponents from the Asian continent even if they come to China. Messi will play matches against two African superpowers, Nigeria and Ivory Coast. The Nigeria vs Argentina match will be held at Hangzhou Olympics Sports Center Stadium. And their opponents are Ivory Coast at the Works Stadium in Beijing.

Argentina was supposed to play a match against China in this tour. However, due to the World Cup qualifying match against Singapore at the same time, the Chinese Football Federation withdrew from that plan.
