Bangladesh umpire Sathira Jakir Jessy revealed she felt minimal pressure during the Women's Asia Cup final between India and Sri Lanka, attributing her calm demeanor to her experiences in the Dhaka Premier League (DPL).

Jessy, who officiated in the final where Sri Lanka defeated India by eight wickets, reflected on a leg-before appeal against Sri Lanka's Chamari Atapattu. She explained that despite initial dissatisfaction from Indian captain Harmanpreet Kaur, a review with the big screen confirmed the delivery was outside the leg stump, which led to Kaur accepting the decision.

As Bangladesh prepares to host the Women's T20 World Cup in October, Jessy expressed her excitement and optimism about officiating in the tournament, pending confirmation from the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) and the International Cricket Council (ICC).
