Dhaka, Aug 28 (V7N): Bangladesh secured their first SAFF U-20 Championship title with a decisive 4-1 win over host nation Nepal in the final held in Kathmandu.

The match was largely dominated by Bangladesh, who built a commanding 3-0 lead before the 90-minute mark. Although Nepal managed to score once, Bangladesh added another goal during the 10 minutes of extra time, sealing the victory at 4-1.

Earlier in the tournament, Bangladesh had suffered a 2-1 defeat to Nepal in the group stages, but they triumphed when it counted most.
