Real Madrid narrowly avoided their first league loss of the season, drawing 1-1 with Las Palmas on Thursday, thanks to a second-half penalty from Vinicius Junior. The Brazilian winger converted the spot-kick in the 69th minute after Las Palmas' Alex Suarez was penalized for handball.

Earlier, Real Madrid found themselves trailing after a fifth-minute goal from Alberto Moleiro. Despite their efforts, Madrid couldn't find a winner, resulting in their second draw in three La Liga matches. This leaves them fourth in the standings, four points behind archrivals Barcelona.

In another match, Girona delivered a crushing 4-0 victory over Osasuna. Girona dominated throughout, with Bryan Gil opening the scoring in the 34th minute. Viktor Tsygankov and Abel Ruiz added two more goals in quick succession around the 53rd minute, effectively securing the win. Cristhian Stuani capped off the match with a fourth goal in the dying moments. Osasuna struggled throughout, managing just one shot that wasn't on target and failing to win any corners, with only two touches in Girona's penalty area.
