Gaza, Nov 29 (V7N) –  Israeli airstrikes and military operations in Gaza have killed 48 people and injured 53 others, the Gaza Health Ministry reported on Thursday. The latest fatalities bring the total death toll in Gaza from Israeli attacks to 44,330, with 104,933 people injured since the beginning of the conflict.

Despite a UN Security Council resolution calling for an immediate ceasefire, Israeli military operations continue in Gaza as part of the ongoing Israel-Hamas conflict that began last year. The situation has escalated in the second year of the war, with analysts noting an increase in the level of violence, described as genocidal by some observers.

Gaza, already suffering from a severe humanitarian crisis, is facing a food and clean water shortage due to the ongoing blockade and attacks. The International Criminal Court (ICC) recently issued arrest warrants for Israeli officials, including Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza. Netanyahu also faces genocide charges at the International Court of Justice for his role in the airstrikes and attacks on Gaza.
