Thousands of Israelis flooded the streets of Tel Aviv on Saturday (March 3) in massive protests demanding the release of hostages held by Hamas. The Times of Israel reported the event, highlighting the chants against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his government for perceived failure in rescuing the hostages. Alongside the protestors, relatives of the victims' families voiced their anguish and called for urgent action.

The demonstrators emphasized the plight of 134 individuals still held captive by Hamas, despite previous releases following the unprecedented operation launched by the Palestinian group on October 7 last year. While hundreds were liberated in subsequent rounds, the demand for the release of the remaining hostages remains fervent.

In addition to the Tel Aviv rally, similar protests erupted in Jerusalem, where participants urged Prime Minister Netanyahu's administration to secure the hostages' safe return. Organizers announced plans for a four-day march to Netanyahu's residence to further amplify their demands and pressure the government for action.

The demonstrations underscored the deep concern and frustration among Israelis regarding the ongoing hostage situation and the need for decisive measures to address it.
