Indian Prime Minister Modi reaffirmed India's commitment to Bangladesh's ambitions and aspirations as a close friend and reliable development partner.
On Monday, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced that he had spoken with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and congratulated her on winning the Bangladeshi parliamentary elections for a record-breaking fourth term.
"I also congratulate the people of Bangladesh for the successful conduct of elections," stated Modi.
The Indian PM stated, "We are committed to further strengthen our enduring and people-centric partnership with Bangladesh," in a message posted on X, the former name of Twitter.
As Prime Minister Hasina gets ready to take office for a fourth term in a row, Prime Minister Modi expressed confidence in the historical and close ties between Bangladesh and India that will continue to grow in all spheres of their unbreakable partnership in a separate letter of congratulations sent on Monday.
He reaffirmed India's commitment to Bangladesh's ambitions and aspirations as a close friend and reliable development partner.
Prime Minister Modi wished the people of Bangladesh ongoing progress, peace, and prosperity in the letter as well.
