Tehran, Mar 02 (V7N) — Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has claimed that a sudden missile strike caused serious damage to the Israeli Prime Minister’s Office and the Air Force Commander’s headquarters, according to a statement released Monday by the IRGC’s public relations department.
The report, cited by Tasnim News Agency, said that the attack was carried out using a ‘Khyber’ missile and described it as precise and targeted. The IRGC also stated that Iran has conducted ten drone and missile strikes so far against Israeli and US bases in the region.
Israeli sources confirmed that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu canceled a scheduled visit to Beit Shemesh following the attack. His last official video, which was brief, was broadcast a few hours ago, but no new videos or images of Netanyahu have been released since.
Meanwhile, Hebrew-language media have not published official details regarding Netanyahu’s current location or security situation, leaving questions about the prime minister’s status amid escalating tensions in the region.
