Due to the recent escalation in the Hamas-Israel conflict, reports of human rights violations against Palestinian prisoners have emerged, according to a recent United Nations report.

Israeli soldiers have been accused of subjecting Palestinian prisoners to electric shocks, physical and mental torture, and attacks by dogs. The report highlights the suffering endured by innocent residents, including children, who have been caught in the crossfire of the conflict.

The conflict, which has been ongoing for more than six months, initially involved Palestinian independence organizations targeting Israeli occupiers. However, the involvement of other countries, including Iran, has led to increased attacks by Israeli forces on innocent Gazans.

Allegations of sexual violence perpetrated by Israeli soldiers have also surfaced, further exacerbating the humanitarian crisis in Gaza.

According to the UN report, over a thousand Palestinians have been released by Tel Aviv thus far. However, many of them have reported mistreatment and abuse by Israeli military personnel.

Men in custody have reported being subjected to electric shocks, while women have endured attacks involving chili powder and dogs. Additionally, prisoners have been deprived of adequate food and water, further worsening the dire situation.

In light of these disturbing revelations, the United Nations has called for an immediate end to the growing humanitarian crisis in Gaza, urging all parties involved to prioritize the protection of human rights and the well-being of civilians caught in the conflict.
