A historic student movement has ignited across the United States, condemning Israel's actions in Gaza and demanding an end to what many describe as genocide. Students and teachers alike are joining forces in unprecedented numbers, despite facing crackdowns from authorities.

From California to Boston, New York to Washington, universities nationwide are witnessing a surge in student activism against Israel's actions. Prestigious institutions like Harvard and George Washington University are among those where voices are rising for justice in Palestine. This wave of protest has also spread internationally to countries like Italy, France, Germany, and Australia.

A student from the University of Texas emphasized the need to sever financial ties with Israel and related institutions. They called for justice for all students and teachers and demanded the reversal of expulsion orders for those advocating for Palestine.

Another protester highlighted the urgency of taking action against the ongoing violence in Palestine, stressing that the United States must not be complicit in the massacre through its connections with Israeli institutions.

Despite facing repression, including expulsion threats and physical violence, students and teachers remain steadfast in their commitment to the cause. Sit-in protests continue to gain momentum as the movement grows in intensity.

One protester expressed solidarity with Gaza and called for the cancellation of all academic ties with Israel. They underscored the importance of addressing the genocide unfolding in Gaza.

Another vowed to persist until their demands are met, emphasizing the importance of cutting off funding to Israel. The sentiment among protesters is clear: the fight for justice in Palestine will not cease until tangible action is taken.
