Local authorities reported that a large tanker transporting liquefied natural gas (LPG) overturned amidst the downpour, with subsequent flooding carrying it away. Fortunately, the driver and passengers escaped unharmed.

The overflow of rivers, including Bolan and Norigz-Mula, further compounded the situation, inundating nearby areas and exacerbating the flooding. Meteorologists attributed the heavy rainfall to basin areas along these rivers, exacerbating the severity of the flooding.

This recent bout of severe weather follows earlier heavy rainfall that caused significant damage to infrastructure and homes in various parts of Balochistan. The region has been grappling with the aftermath of adverse weather conditions, with the toll on human life and property continuing to rise.
