Former Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan has described the national election held on February 8 as the "biggest robbery ever." Khan made this assertion during a Supreme Court hearing on Thursday, according to Reuters.

Currently incarcerated at Adiala Jail, Khan participated in the hearing virtually. He stated that the elections were fraudulent, depriving the people of Pakistan of their rightful democratic process. Khan also accused the government of torturing his party leaders and violating human rights.

"This was the most significant electoral fraud in our history," Khan claimed, emphasizing the alleged scale and impact of the irregularities. He called attention to the dire conditions and treatment faced by his party members under the current administration.

This marks Imran Khan's first public statement in court since his imprisonment in August of the previous year. The former Prime Minister's comments have sparked renewed debate and controversy over the legitimacy of the February elections and the treatment of opposition parties in Pakistan.
