New Delhi, 06 July 2024- The recent Lok Sabha elections in India have concluded without a single majority for the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), forcing it to rely on coalition partners. Former Bihar Chief Minister and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) President Lalu Prasad Yadav has labeled the BJP-led government as "weak" and predicted its collapse within a month.

Speaking at a Rashtriya Janata Dal event in Patna, Bihar’s capital, Yadav claimed that the Modi government could fall as early as next August. "The Modi government is weak. It can fall anytime. Be prepared for Lok Sabha by-elections from now," he stated, according to a report by The Hindu.

Despite these assertions from the opposition, the BJP has dismissed concerns about the stability of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government. Union Minister Nityananda Rai responded, "Lalu Prasad Yadav is dreaming. People voted for Modi. BJP has been elected by people's choice."

The political landscape remains tense as the BJP navigates coalition politics, with the opposition keeping a close watch on the government's stability.
