Jerusalem, August 25 — A 48-hour state of emergency has been declared in Israel following several missile attacks from Lebanon. The announcement was made by Israel's Defense Minister, Yoav Galant, on Sunday.

Reports indicate that the Lebanese armed group Hezbollah launched a significant assault on Israel's northern region, firing at least 70 rockets toward the border. The Lebanese media outlet, Al Mayadin TV, stated that the attack lasted for over 20 minutes. In response, Israel conducted counterattacks, with ongoing military operations reported in the southern part of Lebanon.

The Israeli news outlet Wynet reported that the Israeli army has issued several directives for civilians during the state of emergency. These instructions include restrictions on movement in certain designated areas and limitations on public gatherings to ensure safety amid the escalating tensions.
