The Election Commission of the country has completed all the preparations for the national elections of Pakistan. Security has been strengthened. In a report on Wednesday (February 7), the Pakistani news media Dawn News reported this information.

According to the report, the campaign of the candidates ended on Tuesday midnight. Electronic and social media campaigns cannot be conducted before Wednesday's polls. No one can enter the polling station with a mobile phone without the presiding officer. A ban has also been given on climbing the roofs of nearby buildings.

Meanwhile, the United Nations Commission on Human Rights expressed concern over the issue of political violence surrounding the elections in Pakistan. Observers have called for ensuring uninterrupted internet connection and access to polling stations for journalists. About 18,000 candidates are fighting for 859 seats in the National and Provincial Assemblies of Pakistan. The total number of voters is 13 crores.
